Response of various growth parameters of chickpea to organically management of nutrients in onion based cropping systems

A field studies were conducted for two years (2015-16 to 2016-17) on a clay loam soil at the IFSRP, Rahuri, to study the evaluation of organic farming package for kharif onion based cropping system on various growth parameters of chickpea. The residual effect of 50% N through FYM + 50% N through vermicompost followed by direct effect of 100% N through organic (50% N through FYM + 50% N through vermicompost) was recorded significantly maximum plant height, plant spread, number of branches and dry matter in chickpea than rest of the treatments.
