Infertility is a major problem seen in present era. There are various cause responsible for infertility either structural, physiological or hormonal abnormality. Most of the condition seen that inspite of normal structural, physiological as well as hormonal and normalcy of both couple, female may not conceive. Prajasthapana mahakashaya is one of the 50 mahakashaya, which have been mentioned in Caraka samhita sutra sthana 4/7. Ten important drugs are enumerated under this mahakashaya i.e. Aindri, Brahmi, Shatavirya, Sahasravirya, Avyatha, Amogha, Shiva, Arishta, Vatyapushpi and Vishvakasenkanta. The drug mentioned under Prajasthapana mahakashaya remove doshas from uterus and also strength the uterus and help in pregnancy.
