    The Journal of Biotechnology and Crop Science Journal of Biotechnology and Crop science (ISSN: 2349-9885) is an open access and peer reviewed journal. It publishes original research papers involved in the field of Crop science including Crop Physiology, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Biochemistry, Biology and Soil Science of all the cultivated crops. The Journal also publishes research articles on topics related to the production science of field crops and resource plants, including cropping systems, sustainable agriculture, environmental change, post-harvest management, biodiversity, crop improvement, and recent advances in physiology and molecular biology. Also, the covered are related subjects in a wide range of sciences such as the ecological and physiological aspects of crop production and genetic, breeding, and biotechnological approaches for crop improvement. The primary criteria for publication are that need not only to meet specific interests of Crop Scientists and Bio-technologists, but also to satisfy the population of this journal who are engaging the development and marketing of seed industry.


The Society of Crop Scientist and Biotechnologist, BHU, Varanasi organizing first global congress on "Biotechnology and Crop Science" at India's No. 1 University, Banaras Hindu University, and the ancient and holy city of India Varanasi, during 19th to 22th February 2018. The holy city of Varanasi is oldest of civilization known for spiritualism, religion, knowledge, music and art. The holy river Ganges, Kashi Vishwanatha Temple, Saranath, Ramnagar Fort is the main attraction sites of the city and Banarasi Sarees and Silk are famous world wide. Banaras Hindu University established in 1916 by Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviyaji is one of the most prestigious Central Universities of the country. At present 04 institutes, 04 centers of excellence, women colleges, 04 interdisciplinary schools, 16 faculties and 140 departments with the addition of Rajeev Gandhi South Campus are contributing for academic growth in their respective areas of Banaras Hindu University.
